That's my old GTX 950 on top of the computer. This card is really meant for high refresh 1440p game play (did a lot of research on it prior to and it seems to get well above 60FPS 1440p in the vast majority of games) and I plan to get one of those monitors eventually to maximize the potential of the card. In newer titles you'll have to tweak the settings a bit, some run fairly well in 4K and some do not, very dependent on the game. It will get 60 FPS 4K in racing games, fighting games, esports, MOBAS, less demanding titles, and games that are a bit older (2015 and prior is my definition of "older"). I tested a variety of games in 4K as well.

But it blows any game in 1080p on max settings out of the park, no problem. I only have a 1080p 60 hz monitor and 4K 60 hz monitor so I can't speak for ultra high refresh rates. I tested this card with various games in my library like Tomb Raider (2013), Wolfenstein, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Soul Calibur V (I'm mainly a fighting game person), Mortal Kombat, Skyrim, The Outer Worlds. I've had a GTX 950 graphics card for the longest time and upgrading to the RTX 2060 Super is like a night and day difference. Was lucky enough to get the last one they had in stock at my store. BTW the GEFORCE RTX green light stays on, on the card. I tried to be as clear as I could be and give as much information as possible. I watched SO many videos on youtube about this topic.
This was my first time ever doing this and i was so scared lol. The RTX 2060s temperatures while gaming stays around 55-65.
Now with the RTX 2060s i dont have to sacrifice render resolution to reach 144 fps, i can set it up to 100 and play with a consistent 144+ fps & everything on low settings. Playing Warzone on my old GTX 1060 i had to run everything at low settings + I always had to sacrifice the render resolution playing at 66 instead of 100 to reach 144 fps on my. My main game is fortnite, but lets be real fortnite is poorly optimized and whatever high card you throw at it the frames will always be terrible.
#NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060 REVIEW PC#
Upgraded to a RTX 2060 SUPER & everything is AMAZING! The on my PC has a pin connector an a pin connector which is = pin connector. Taking centre stage for the Founders Edition is the newly reengineered vapour chamber which takes advantage of a double-cooling fan configuration.I have an PC, asrock b360m ib-r1. Whereas the RTX 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti dealt with UHD, the RTX 2060’s forte is 1080p/1440p and is therefore likely to appeal to a large number of gamers settling for the more common desktop resolution. The RTX 2060 may be the lowest spec offering in the lineup, but it’s still able to serve up true next-gen features which we first saw introduced months ago – including real-time ray tracing and AI rendering at hardware level. While you may think of this graphics card as the successor to the GTX 1060, it’s more comparable to the GTX 1070 or even GTX 1070 Ti. The RTX 2060 is the fourth card to join the RTX-20 family.
